Lazzuli Baroque

Biography

Lazzuli Baroque was born as a love letter to tight soprano harmonies and raucously fun music making. Founded by soprano Roseline Lambert (“exquisite” - La Presse) and mezzo-soprano Rocky Duval (“beautiful, vocally and visually” - Deviant Opera), the band is a delightful amalgam of sensual baroque technique with the duo’s signature vocal prowess. Here to make you smile, laugh, cry, and above all, enjoy the delicious beauty of baroque music, they are joined by some of Toronto’s most renowned early music musicians: lute player Lucas Harris, harpist Julia Seager-Scott, and viola da gamba player Felix Deák.
